Are you responsible for the final distribution of a gift given by a loved one or client who has passed away? If so, we're here to help you execute the final details and documentation.
If you're the executor, trustee, attorney or advisor to a person that contributed a legacy gift to the 91ÊÓƵ, please contact the bequest administrator for your state. These include gifts through a will, trust, or other beneficiary designation, such as life insurance, retirement assets or gift annuities.
We know this is a difficult time for family and friends of the deceased. We're extremely grateful for these types of donations and want to make the process as simple as possible for all involved. We'll work with you to ensure we have the necessary copies of documents, inventories and accountings in order to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and audit requirements. We want to be sure we're honoring the deceased’s wishes as to any restrictions placed on his/her gift.
To determine which bequest administrator to contact, review the execution pages of the will or trust document. The handling of such gifts is determined by the state in which the grantor or executor was permanently residing at the time he or she executed the pertinent documents.

Important: Please only send distributions or documents to your bequest administrator. Your local association office is NOT authorized to receive such distributions
